Create a Wi-Fi QR code
A phone that scans this joins the network without anyone reading a password off a wall. Enter the network name exactly as it appears in the Wi-Fi list — it is case sensitive, and a wrong character fails silently.

The generator below is already set to Wi-Fi.
Type the network name exactly
The SSID is case sensitive and spaces count. Copy it from your router or from the Wi-Fi list on a device already connected.
Choose the security type
WPA covers WPA, WPA2 and WPA3, which is almost every network. Pick the open option only if the network genuinely has no password.
Tick hidden if the network does not broadcast
A hidden network needs this set, otherwise the phone will not find it even with the right name and password.
Print it where guests can reach it
Download SVG so it stays sharp at any size on a card, a table tent or a door.
What the code contains
The password is inside the code in plain form — that is how the format works, and every Wi-Fi QR code does it. Anyone who photographs the printed code has the password, so it belongs on a guest network rather than on the one your own devices use. If you share the design as a link, choose "style only": the default link carries no content, and the page warns you before you send one that does.
